These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Linking Loads Logistics website and the services we provide. By requesting a quote or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services Provided

Linking Loads Logistics provides comprehensive moving and logistics services across all 9 South African provinces and Botswana. Our services include, but are not limited to, residential relocations, heavy-duty transportation, packing, cleaning, storage, renovations, and resell/donate facilitation.

2. Quotes, Estimates, and Additional Charges

• All quotes provided via our “Quick Quote Request” form or over the phone are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
• Quotes are based strictly on the inventory list, distance, and specific services declared by you at the time of booking.
• Unmentioned Items: We will charge an additional fee for any extra items, boxes, or furniture that need to be moved but were not mentioned in the original inventory or quote. We reserve the right to adjust the final invoice on moving day to reflect these additions.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

• A deposit of 50% is required to secure your moving date.
• The remaining balance is strictly due within 24 hours of completion.
• We accept Cash, EFT, and credit/debit cards.

4. Cancellations and Postponements

• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled move will receive a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations or date changes made less than 7 days prior to the move may incur a penalty fee or forfeiture of the deposit to cover scheduled operational costs.

5. Insurance and Liability

• Company-Packed Goods (Full Cover): If Linking Loads Logistics is contracted to pack your belongings, your items will receive full standard Goods in Transit cover up to R50,000 against loss or damage.
• Client-Packed Goods (Limited Liability): If you choose to pack your own belongings into boxes or containers, Linking Loads Logistics will not be held liable for any damages or breakages to those items. Liability for client-packed goods will only be accepted in the event of a verified vehicle accident during transit, supported by an official accident report.
• For high-value items, fine art, or fragile electronics, we highly recommend declaring these upfront and purchasing additional all-risk insurance.
• We are not liable for internal damage to electronics where no external physical damage is visible, or for delays caused by severe weather, border control (for Botswana moves), or uncontrollable traffic events.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Access: The client must ensure that our trucks have safe, legal, and adequate access to both the pickup and delivery locations.
• Prohibited Items: You agree not to include hazardous, flammable, illegal, or explosive materials in your load.
• Valuables: Personal documents, jewellery, cash, and highly sensitive items should be transported personally by the client.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
